The role

We’re looking for a person with experience in sales and customer success to join our new marketing team and spearhead the customer journey in terms of support in pre- and post sale matters. This role involves overseeing incoming customers enquiries via phone and e-mail as well as keeping an overview of incoming orders and processing those accordingly.

The Sales and Customer Success Agent is a junior role that reports directly to the Sales Manager and works closely with the whole sales team, brand and marketing as well as the product team.


For this role you must be based in Berlin. Full time (32-38 hrs / week).

Your mission

As Sales and Customer Success Agent, your primary mission is to elevate Standert’s customer experience. You will achieve this by delivering excellent customer support strengthened by your knowledge for our products and a friendly and open character. All kinds of enquiries have to be listened to and every customer deserves a competent and quick reply to keep their emotional connection to the brand upright. 

As a relatively young brand, Standert's goal is to constantly improve internal processes. As a Sales and Customer Success Agent you and your team are the center of the sales process and your task is to help make it more efficient.
About you

Experience:

  • Strong understanding of customer success and sales operations.

  • Experience as a sales agent (or similar role), preferably working with bicycles or complex, premium products.

  • Experience working with ERP systems and Shopify (Plus).

  • High level of care and prudence.

  • Openness, friendliness, and curiosity for new things.

  • Self-confident and ambitious, proactive with a 'can-do' mentality.

  • Creativity, flexibility, and initiative.

  • Experience with customer service tools like Gorgias is a plus.


Skills and mindset:

  • Strong analytical skills, a result-oriented mentality with a strong drive to get things done and ability to work independently.

  • Excellent project management skills and comfortable leading smaller projects.

  • Embrace a flexible mindset, excel in collaborative efforts rather than adhering strictly to set directions.

  • Demonstrate a strong capacity for learning and self-motivation, empowering you to master your tools and continually upgrade your skills in e-commerce.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with different teams and partners.

  • Passion for cycling and cycling culture.

  • Knowledge about bicycles as a product.

  • Fluent in English and German.

Your responsibilities
  • Being in charge of customer success.

  • Help to improve the overall customer experience.

  • Processing incoming sales orders and keeping track of stock.

  • Develop systems and procedures to optimise operations and boost efficiency within the order processing.

  • Support to examine sales data, customer behaviors, customer trends and other critical metrics to make sure we offer the right products at the right time for the right customer.

  • Support with product launches.

  • Collaborate closely with other teams (mainly with brand, sales and product) to plan and implement content for launches and other content pieces.

  • Checking in regularly with the sales and product team about product trends and (product-)feedback from customers.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and customer success best practices, monitor competitors.

  • Keep track of  stock levels and develop ideas around how to increase turn-over.

  • Provide support in our showroom in the event of an unexpected staff shortage (with time compensation).
